Work. What a mess. I won't bore anyone with details.

Luckily, I remember the first day I walked in the front doors here. In my sharp rich brown suit and striking blue button-up. I was going to get this job, no matter what it took. I'd been eyeing this company for years, and finally found the perfect opportunity.

I was anxious to start working, start producing, make a difference... all of those heaped up ambitions that you experience after being without a job for a couple of months. I've actually held true to a lot of those, and have made quite a name for myself here.

When days get too frustrating, I frequent the black leather settee in the reception area to remind myself of that first day. Puts things in perspective.

way too early

Ok, so, we lost last night. For some reason, I figured we had a good chance against Pittsburgh (of all teams), and with Cookie's fatal sinker, this new kid Spilborghs and the very cute Brad Hawpe back in the line-up, it was in the bag. But, it didn't happen. I guess partly because I hadn't realized that The Mayor and ol' Burnitz now reside with the Pirates. Oh well, it's impossible to keep track these days...

The best part, (besides Cook's cosmic change-up), was the $1 superdog (still not as good as a dodger-dog imo).

OH! Draft Day! Surely I'll be stuck in some meeting...

hmm, whatelse... work's not very fun right now.

fresh start

I haven't used my livejournal in literally years. I guess now's as good of time as any, to start over.

If you didn't know this about me, I'm a baseball fanatic. I attempt to see atleast one game per series at Coors Field, which manages to occupy my time quite a bit. So, tonight we're playin the Pirates (which, if you didn't know, aren't doin so hot this year). Should be a good game. Although, I said that the other night when we played the Marlins, and lost. Oh, I must mention that it was great to see the cute new Spilborghs hit a homer. His first in the majors? I think so. Anyways...

Other than that, not a lot going on. Just working and keeping busy.

Mark - I'm sure you're bound to find this, if so, yes, you're still my holla-back guy. :)
